RELEASE FOR THE ITALIAN CITIZENS

ITALIAN TRANSLATION

The Embassy of Italy invites all the Italian citizens who live in this Consolar district to register (AIRE) if they haven’t already done so and to inform the Embassy of any changes of address and marital status. Having complete and updated information will allow this Consular Section of this Embassy to provide a quick service and the Italian citizen to fully exercise his rights, almost which, voting by correspondence.

The Embassy would like to point out what follows:

·        The registration at the Embassy is compulsory by law;

·        Maintening a thorough and precise data base enables the Consular Office of this Embassy to provide an efficient Consular service;

·        Lack of updated personal information, particularly change of address and telephone number, results in the impossibility of a prompt contact with the Italian citizen. In such cases the Embassy has to start an investigation;

·        Only Italian citizens who are regularly registered with this Embassy can exercise their right to vote.

All Italian citizens are kindly invited to follow the above instructions.
